The webinar featured Dr. Rafael Segundo from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW), Switzerland, who presented "The Continental European Power System: Current Landscape, Challenges, and Pathways Toward a Sustainable Future", discussing the evolving European electricity grid and the integration of renewable energy sources.

The second presentation, "EnergySmart Challenges in Latvia's Residential Market", was delivered by Egils Trumpe from Ignitis Group Latvia, part of one of the leading energy and renewable energy companies in the Baltic region. The presentation explored the opportunities and challenges of deploying smart energy solutions in Latvian households and their role in supporting a more sustainable energy system.
