Industry days

The Industry Days of the Swiss-Latvian Smart Energy Digital Competence Centre (DCC) bring together researchers, industry representatives, innovators, policymakers, and other stakeholders working in the fields of sustainable energy and digital technologies.

These in-person events provide a platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and discussion of the latest developments, challenges, and opportunities in areas that are central to the Centre's activities. By creating opportunities for dialogue between academia and industry, the Industry Days help strengthen collaboration, support innovation, and foster the transfer of knowledge into practical applications.

Each event focuses on a specific theme and offers participants the opportunity to learn from experts, explore emerging trends, and build new partnerships.

The first Industry Day, dedicated to battery technologies, was held on 25 February 2026 at the Institute of Solid State Physics, University of Latvia. Upcoming events include the Hydrogen Industry Forum on 16 February 2027 and the Smart Grids Industry Day, which will be organised by the Institute of Electronics and Computer Science in 2027.
